Born and raised in Gary, Indiana, and now based in Indianapolis, I've had a passion for hair since I was 15, when I first started out as a braider. Life took me on a different path, and I wasn't able to pursue my dream right away. But at 36, I finally took the leap and enrolled in cosmetology school, proving that it's never too late to follow your passion.

In January 2025, at 38 years old, I officially became a licensed cosmetologist, something I had been striving for since I was 22! Before that, I had spent years mastering quick weaves, sew-ins, and wigs through self teaching. But being in the field has allowed me to refinery tech piques and expand my expertise even further.

During cosmetology school, I became Pravana Color Certified and Malibu C Head Lab Certified, enhancing my knowledge in color services and hair restoration. Since graduating, I've earned certifications as a Biolage Certified Scalp Specialist and a Certified Prosthetic Specialist through Wig Medical.

My journey into specializing in hair loss, restoration, and scalp health is deeply personal. Since 2014, I have struggled with non-medical hair loss due to chemical over processing. I know firsthand how hair loss can affect confidence, and that's why I've dedicated my career to helping others overcome the same challenges.

At She Stylez, my mission is simple: to restore confidence through expert hair solutions, whether it's scalp care, hair loss restoration, extensions, or color correction. I believe that everyone deserves to feel beautiful and empowered, and I'm here to make that happen, one client at a time.
